photoChristopher A. Andrews, 48, Bourbon, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, in his home.

Christopher was born Feb. 28, 1966, to Thomas Andrews and Patricia (Copper) Andrews at Coldwater, Mich. He was a 1984 graduate of Argos High School and had been a resident of California until he moved back to Bourbon to be near his family in 2013.

Christopher was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Desert Storm War and Iraq. He was a surgical technician first assistant while serving in the Navy. He had been entrusted with the care of many patients while assisting in surgery. His training continued as he was recently employed at Zimmer of Warsaw.

He is survived by his mother; two daughters: Krystian and Gerald Johnson, Corpus Christi, Texas; Aryiss Andrews, Emery, S.D.; and son: Grant Andrews, Emery, S.D.; and two grandchildren: London Grace and Luke; sisters: Frances and Lon Helton, Tippecanoe, Ind.; Leila Andrews, Bourbon; Sheri Andrews, Battle Creek; Julie Hrab, Decatur, Ind.; Kalina and Dave Hoelcher, Niles, Mich.; and his brother: Edward Hrab, Nevada; and his beloved service dog, ‘Sloane’.

Proceeding in death was his father.

There will not be any services at this time.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St.  Bourbon, Indiana 46504, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
