Henry 'Mac' Lewis North WebsterHenry ‘Mac’ Lewis, 79, formerly of North Webster, Ind., passed away at 5:04 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at University Nursing Center in Upland, Ind.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1934 in Evansville, Ind. to Henry M. and Stella (Hunter) Lewis.

Henry graduated from Old Central High School in Evansville, Ind. and is a United States Navy Veteran. He was married on September 20, 1991 in Henderson, Ky. to Bonnie (Landrum) Jones who preceded him on Dec. 24, 2013. He moved to the North Webster area 20 plus years ago from Michigan and was formerly employed at Lance’s New Market in North Webster for 10 plus years and was a former Lieutenant for Smith Security in Detroit, Mich.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster and VFW in Evansville.

He is survived by five daughters: Claudia (Thomas Pickerill) Cissna of Pierceton, Cheryl Lewis of Evansville, Carla Lewis of Evansville, Christy (Craig) Bevins of Warsaw and Juanita Cissna of Pierceton; 13 grand children; several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son: Tony “Mack” Lewis and great-great granddaughter, Chloe Fetcher.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. No public funeral services will be held.
