Carol Griffith, 61, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

She was born on April 14, 1953, in Warsaw, Ind., to Andrew David Tackett and Addie (Blanton) Tackett. She married Anthony Griffith on Dec. 4, 1999, in Warsaw.

She was a lifetime Warsaw, resident and work  at Dalton Foundries for 17 years as a towmotor driver, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed bingo, making crafts, painting and crocheting

She is survived by three daughters: Michelle Hall, Pierceton, Ind.; Stacy (Todd) Deeter, Ligonier, Ind.; Clara Rogers, Milford, Ind.; one step-son: Shawn Griffith, Pierceton; five sisters: Mandy Claubaugh, Huntington, Ind.; Faye Brunner, New Palestine, Ind.; Polly (Monroe) Allen, Packerton, Ind.;  Kathleen (James) Griffith, Warsaw; Geraldine Blair, Warsaw; three brothers: Ray Tackett, Otway, Ohio; Hargus (Evelyn) Tackett, Warsaw;
Frank (Beverly) Tackett, South Whitley, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; father; mother; three sisters: Marie Heeter; Martha Shepherd; Pauline Tackett; and three brothers: Leo Tackett; Harkless Tackett; Charlie Tackett.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at the funeral home. Pastor Lewis Quiros, Victory Christian Center, Warsaw, will officiate. Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
