photoGlenn Leonard, 63, of Bourbon, Ind., passed away at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Hospice House of Elkhart, Ind.

Glenn was born Sept. 19, 1950, to Homer and Bernadine (Hart) Leonard at Connersville, Penn. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. Glenn was a graduate of Triton High School in 1968.  Glenn married Cindy Holderman on August 18, 1979 in the Albright United Methodist Church; she survives.

Glenn was a punch press operator at Chore Time Brock, retiring in 2013 and he had worked at Biomet. In his spare time he loved fishing, hunting, camping, being outside, trap shooting clay pigeons and he really enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He had also been a member of Albright United Methodist Church until it merged with other churches. 

He is survived by two daughters: Karissa (Randy) Ousley and Melissa Leonard, both of Bourbon; three grandchildren: Derek, Blake and Taylor Ousley; five sisters: Rachel Rodriguez; Becky (Jim) Scarberry; Carol (Mrs. Dean) Swingle; Mary (Dave) McConnell; Patty (Andy) Cook; three brothers: Steve and Randy Neidig; Terry and Alma Neidig; and Dennis and Debra Neidig.

He was preceded in death by his father; sisters: Sandy Leonard and Suzann Leonard; brother: Gene Leonard; and his stepfather: Joseph Neidig. 

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Bethel Cemetery located on Gumwood Road west of Bourbon. The Deaton Clemens Funeral Home is privileged to be entrusted in arranging the services.
