Horn, Billy D.Billy D. Horn, 77, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital.

He was born Aug. 10, 1937, in Mentone, Ind., to Dwayne and Maxine (Wideman) Horn. He married Patricia A. Fancil and served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Horn retired in 1987 as a diesel mechanic from Gladieux Refinery in New Haven, Ind., after 27 years of service.

He is survived by a son: Billy Horn Jr., Columbia City, Ind.; four daughers: Kim (Robert) Sweet, Columbia City; Chris (Howie) Welch, Columbia City; Sonia (Chris) Welch, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Deana (Sean) Roof, Fort Wayne; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four sisters: Sharon Miller, Lynde (Larry) Yeiter, Judy Robinson and Luann Horn, all of Warsaw, Ind.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia A. Horn; a brother: Larry G. Horn; two sons: Rocky Horn and Maurice Horn; and a daughter: Cynthia Horn.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. The funeral service will begin at noon Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Kumber from Warsaw Church of God. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
