Larry Fretz pictureLarry Fretz, 74, of Etna Green, Ind., passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, in his home.

Larry was born Nov. 27, 1940, to Russell and Ruth (Mellott) Fretz in Warsaw, Ind. He has been a lifelong resident of the area.

Larry was an avid sports enthusiast, collecting many sports team memorabilia. He had worked at Uniroyal at Warsaw for 38 years as a Shipping and Receiving Manager. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge both of Warsaw, and was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School. He will be greatly missed by all.

Larry is survived by his children: Suzetta Howard, Nappanee, Ind.; Kurt Fretz and Jeffrey Fretz, Bremen, Ind.; his 17 grandchildren; a sister: Carol (Bruce) Patrick, West Lafayette, Ind.; and his companion: Carolyn Ritchison of Warsaw.

Proceeding in death were his parents; son: Larry Fretz, Jr.; grandson; Justin; sister: Marilyn Lozier; and brother: David Fretz.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon. A Grave Side Service will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, in Summit Chapel Cemetery, Bourbon.
