Edward F. “Ed” Montovani, 76, of North Webster, Ind., passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 at his home.

Edward was born on September 23, 1937 in Springfield, Mass. to Frank & Flo Beatrice (Peliquin) Montovani. He graduated from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, attended University of Michigan and graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was a United States Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. He was married June 21, 1986 in Indianapolis, Ind. to Suzann L. Hengstler who survives. He formerly worked at Warsaw Chemical, RCA in Indianapolis, Brulin & Co. in Indianapolis, Car Brite Detail Products in Indianapolis, and Rookstool Pier Co. in Leesburg. He lived most of his life in the Indianapolis area before moving to North Webster in January 1994.

He is survived by his wife: Suzann Montovani of North Webster; son: David V. (Tracy) Montovani of Indianapolis; and a brother: David (Donna) Montovani of Indianapolis

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No public services are being held at this time. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500 North in North Webster, is in charge of all arrangements.
