larry klingermanLarry Klingerman, 75, Bourbon, Indiana, passed away on at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 in his home with his family at his side.

Larry was born April 14, 1939 to Floyd C. and Mabel (Flory) Klingerman in Etna Green, Ind. He has been a lifelong resident of Bourbon.

Larry was known by many for the old cars he had restored, particularly his 40 Willies Jeep. He had worked at Biomet and retired in 2003 as a Supervisor after 43 years of employment. In his spare time he loved old cars, his Corvettes, drag racing and all the activities that related to hot rods. He will be greatly missed by all.

Larry married Lee Ann (Redman) on December 15, 1984; she survives along with his daughters and son-in-law:  Jacqueline Smith of Warsaw, Ind., Brandi and Gale Greer of Bourbon; his son and daughter-in-law; Trent and Kathy Klingerman of West Lafayette, Ind.; his grandchildren: Cameron, Logan, Caleb and Luke Smith, Elisabeth, Caroline and Gabrielle Klingerman, Gavin and Abbigale Greer. He was further blessed with his sisters: Linda Rogan of Canton, Ohio and Zada (Mrs. Robert) Border of Bourbon and brother: Dan and Donna Klingerman of Bourbon..

Proceeding in death were his parents, sister: Betty Powell; and brother: Jack Klingerman.

You are invited on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 to share memories with the family from 4-8 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon, IN 46504. A celebration of Larry’s life will follow Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon, Indiana.
