Eleanor Jackson, 92, of Leesburg, Ind., passed away on March 29, 2014.

She was born on March 30, 1931, in Elwood, Ind., to Oscar and Ethel Smith.

Living in Kosciusko County most of her life, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid swimmer, with a knack for the back float, and a storyteller that always included “it was the funniest thing”.

She is survived by her sons: Dale Jackson, Leesburg; David Jackson, Arizona; a daughter: Diana Morris, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband John Jackson; and a son: Daniel Jackson.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Eastlund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the North Webster Cemetery/Mock addition.
