photo-1Douglas Clark, 57, of Etna Green, Ind., passed away at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, in his home after an illness.

Doug was born March 17, 1957 to William E. Clark and Betty (Everly) Clark at Bremen, Indiana. He has been a lifelong resident of Bourbon. Doug married Patti Miller on Sept. 6, 1981. She survives.

Doug loved to do woodworking making tables and furniture in his spare time. He raised veal and was a dairy farmer. Doug attended Triton High School and The Bremen Missionary Church. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife; two step-sons; Jon and Melissa Altizer, Graham, N.C.; Michael Altizer, Nappanee, Ind.; his mother and stepfather: Lowell and Betty Seymour, Plymouth, Ind.; his grandchildren: Austin, Hanna, Taylor and Tori Altizer; his sister; Kim and Mike Lemler, Milford, Ind.; and brother: Randy (Cheryl), Chino Valley, Ariz.

Proceeding in death was his father: William E. Clark.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, in the Bremen Missionary Church, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, in the church with Pastor Gary Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Stony Point Cemetery, Etna Green.
