Roberta J. Grable, 80, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, in her residence.

She was born May 13, 1934, in Warsaw, Ind., to Ora Robert and Ruth Virginia (Sellers) Danner.

She was united in marriage to Heber “Bud” Grable Jr. on Nov. 15, 1975, in Michigan. He preceded her in death.

She was owner of This Old House Antiques and Roberta’s Antiques of Pierceton. Her memberships include the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 and the Golden April Home Economics Club, where she was a founding member.

Roberta is survived by a daughter Cindy (Jerry) Kreger, Pierceton; a son: Chris Hathaway, Syracuse, Ind.; a brother: Robert L. (Lori) Danner, Pierceton; a sister: Janet (John) Stouffer, McCormick, S.C.; grandchildren: Julie (Steve) Poe, Winona Lake, Ind.; Beth (Jessie) Hite, Warsaw, Ind.; Shelby Kreger, Haddonfield, N.J.; and Kelsey Kreger, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and great-grandchildren: Daisie, Makayla and Samantha Poe and Anna Hite.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the funeral home with Chris Mahan officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
