Tonight’s Hoosier Millionaire game show will feature a local resident who hopes to not only win the show, but also $1 million.

Tylanna “Ty” Kipker won a spot on tonight’s show in Evansville. Kipker is the wife of Ed Kipker, a 33-year firefighter with the Warsaw Fire Department.

A special trip for the entire family is on tap for tonight’s show. The mylottery club member, according to the Hoosier Lottery, says her prize money would help her get set up for retirement and fund her dream job of being a stay-at-home grandmother.

While Ty was lucky enough to win a spot on the Hoosier Millionaire show, Ed and his fellow firefighters will benefit from the Hoosier Lottery as well. Each year, the lottery contributes $30 million to local police and firefighters’ pensions.

Kipker is one of five people who was selected from 2nd chance tickets. One audience member will also be selected to be a contestant on each regional Hoosier Millionaire game show. The winner of each game show will get their shot to win $1 million on the televised finale at the Indiana State Fair in August.

Want your chance to be a lucky audience member selected for the show? Just fill out the back of a non-winning Hoosier Millionaire ticket and place it in the marked barrel at the regional show you are attending.
