Thomas Frederick Harvey, 79, of Syracuse, passed away at 6:02 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014, in his home.

He was born Jan. 31, 1935, in North Carolina to Jonas Carl and Zula (Wynn) Harvey. He graduated high school and attended some college. He was a veteran of United States Air Force, which he entered at Detroit, Mich. on Aug. 5, 1957, and was honorably discharged at Travis AFB, Fairfield, Calif.

Thomas was a boat salesman. He enjoyed snowmobiling and repairing any kind of watercraft.

He is survived by his daughters: Rachel Harvey, Bremen, Ind.; Shayna Harvey, Bremen; sons: Ronald Harvey, Florida; Tommy Harvey, Florida; grandson: Ryan Harvey, Florida; and sisters: Jeretta, Carolyn and Nancy.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, in the Richfork Baptist Church, 3993 Old Highway 29 Thomasville, N.C. Titus Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
