Susan Kay Stafford, 62, of Winona Lake, Ind., went to be with her Lord and Savior at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Ind.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where she was a Warsaw High School graduate. In January of 1986 she was employed by Warsaw Community Public Library as an Administrative Assistant. Susan worked there until her passing. She was a member of Faith Fellowship in North Manchester, Ind., she enjoyed reading, traveling and especially spending time with her friends and family.
Susan was born on Nov. 24, 1951, in Warsaw, to John Howard Stafford and Thelma Nancy (Maynard) Stafford.
She is survived by her sister: Jewel Hatfield, South Bend, Ind.; niece: Virginia Hatfield, South Bend, Ind.; her adopted Addair family; and special caregivers: Tracy Bloom-Kenney and Renee Sweeny, both of Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her brother-in-law.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home. Her memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw, and will be officiated by Pastor Don Horn, and assisted by Pastors Andrew and Connie Wyckoff.
