Florabelle TribalskiFlorabelle Tribalski, 85, of Etna Green, Ind., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at home.

Florabelle was born Feb. 11, 1929, to Ellsworth and Mabel (Vandermark) Bishop at Plymouth, Ind. Florabelle was raised by her foster parents, Richie and Nellie Harman. She had been a resident of the Etna Green area since 1943.

Florabelle married Anton (Tony) Tribalski on Nov. 16, 1946. Florabelle was a homemaker and a farmer. She was a faithful member of the Etna Green United Methodist Church where she was very active in the life of the church.

She loved to care for children including those who needed a place to get away from city life during the summer; she always welcomed them into her home. She had babysitting services for several of the Etna Green children. Florabelle was very much loved by her family and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Florabelle is survived by her four children: Patricia (Larry) Hollar Sr., Warsaw, Ind.; Angela (Rex) Klotz Sr., Bremen, Ind.; Karen (Mike) Worsham, Bourbon, Ind.; Tony (Helen) Tribalski, Etna Green; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and her brother: Andrew “Jack” Bishop, Brownsboro, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Tony; a grandson: Chad Harrison Tribalski; great-grandson: Travis Klotz; two sisters: Irene Canale and infant sister Edna; and two brothers: Ellery Mehrley and Bill Bishop.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, Ind., and again from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, in Etna Green United Methodist Church. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church with Pastor Joe Lampton officiating. Burial will be in the Etna Green Cemetery.
