Patricia A. Baker[œ[–}Ø}Patricia A. Baker, 86, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of Akron, Ind., passed at 7:29 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at her residence near Warsaw, Ind.

She was born Dec. 23, 1927, in Kosciusko County, Ind., to Merl and Anna Elizabeth (Shepherd) Rowland. On Jan. 3, 1945, in Silver Lake, Ind., she was married to Donald J. Baker, who preceded her in death.

Pat was a homemaker. She attended Silver Lake High School. She enjoyed going to restaurants, gardening, playing dominos and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter: Pansy (Rick) Jacobs, Warsaw; three sons: Jacob (Adena) Baker, Wetumpka, Ala.; Tom (Jane) Baker, Claypool, Ind.; Ted (Nancy) Baker, Warsaw; son-in-law: Fred Koehlinger, Fremont, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren;
four great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Evelyn Clark, Springfield, Ohio; brothers: Duane (Mary) Rowland, South Whitley, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Priscilla (Baker) Koehlinger; sisters – Marjorie Rhodes, Arlene Juday and Colleen Horn; and a brother: Emery Rowland.

Visitation will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Burial will be in Nichols Cemetery, Akron.
