Michael A. Zeider, 61, of Plymouth, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at home.

He was born April 20, 1953, to Charles and Patricia (Cooley) Zeider in Plymouth.

Mike recently retired after working for over 40 years with the Indiana State Highway. He thoroughly enjoyed his job as a project manager and loved to share stories about his work. Mike was just as passionate about those he loved as he was about building roads, and was looking forward to spending his retirement with family and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife: Nancy Zeider, Indianapolis, Ind.; a son: Brandon (Rachel) Zeider, Montana; a daughter: Brittany (Dan) McCormick, Westfield, Ind.; a granddaughter: Emma Zeider; twin grandsons: Ethan and Elijah McCormick; and a sister: Marsha (Robert) Thomas, Nappanee, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Brian Zeider; and a brother: Charles Zeider.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at the funeral home. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate with burial following in the Bremen Cemetery.
