WCPL Announces April Adult Programs

Computer Clinic will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 2. Bring your computer questions and problems. This is a one-on-one program.
Off The Shelf Reading Group will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 3. “The Secret Keeper” by Kate Morton will be discussed.
Chess Club will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in April. For the beginner or expert. Bring your chess game if you have one.
Cookbook Club will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, April 7. Cooking from Ireland. Make an Irish recipe from one of our cookbooks or yours and come to the meeting with a recipe/cookbook and share your experience. Come taste an Irish dish.
“NRT: “The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug” will be shown from 2 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 8. The film is rated PG-13.
How to Make Flower Arrangements will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8. Meet at Anderson Greenhouse. Learn how to make flower arrangements. Register at WCPL.
Make It Take It Crafts: Easter Eggs will be from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. Make Easter eggs from yarn/string stiffened with liquid starch and wrapped around balloons. Cost is 50 cents each. Do not wear good clothing, the class may be messy. Starch will wash out of clothing. Registration required.
The Knit & PURL Club will be from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday, April 14. The class is for the beginner and the expert. Bring your projects.
Writers Club will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday, April 14. Come meet author Donna Frisinger. Donna is an award-winning poet and freelancer.

Bring straight pins, sewing needles, thimble, cotton sewing thread, scissors for cutting material and three shades/patterns of material that blend together, ••• yard each. Registration required.
Introduction to Quilting Part Two will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, April 24. Finish sewing the block. Learn about batting, backing and binding. Registration required.
