Steven Lee Bollman, 57, of New Paris, Ind., and formerly of Bremen, Ind., passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014.

He was born Dec. 20, 1956, to Francis and Delores (Heckaman) Bollman in Bremen. Steve served honorably in the U.S. Army and went on to work in construction for many years. Steve was a thrill seeker, and in his spare time he could often be found riding his motorcycle that he loved, or snowmobiling. He also enjoyed a peaceful day of fishing or hunting for arrowheads. Steve was a great friend and neighbor, lending a helping hand whenever he could.

Steve is survived by his daughter: Mista Lauber, Plymouth, Ind.; his parents: Francis and Delores Bollman, Nappanee, Ind.; four siblings: Cathy (Tom) Moody, Milford, Ind.; Carol (Eric) Botset, Nappanee; Brad (Paula) Bollman, Bristol, Ind.; and Kimberly (Rick) Walters, Kentucky; his companion: Helena Huffer, New Paris; and his beloved dog: Clyde.

Visitation is from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Jan Brown and Pastor Bob Rosa officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Steve may be given to the Bollman family.
