Michael L. Miller, 68, Bourbon, Ind., passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 in his home surround with family.

Michael was born May 3, 1946 to Junior and Phyllis (Shear) Miller at Warsaw, Ind. Mike was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

He was a farmer. In his spare time he loved being outside, hunting and fishing. He graduated from Nappanee High School, Nappanee, Ind. in class of 1964. He had been a resident of the Bourbon area since 1970 and a short time before at Etna Green.

On February 22, 1969, Michael married Barbara Sampers. She survives along with his three sons and their spouses: Randy and Karen Miller of Davenport, Iowa, H. Kelsey Miller of Millersburg, Ind. and Eric and April Miller of Bremen, Ind. He was also survived by six grandchildren: Dalen, Kylee, Cora, Tori, Hunter and Carter and a sister, Connie (Mrs. George) Newkirk of Nappanee, Ind.

He is preceeded in death by his parents.

In honoring his and his family’s wishes, there will not be any services at this time.
