At approximately 5 a.m. today firefighters from SIlver Lake Fire Department were called to respond to reports of a fire located at an empty home located at 10978 South 450 West, Silver Lake.

According to a representative from Silver Lake Fire Department, no one was residing in the home at the time of the fire and no electricity was running through the building. The official cause of the blaze is pending as firefighters finish their investigation. The home was heavily damaged throughout the interior as a result of the fire.

Silve Lake Fire Department, Burket Fire Department and Claypool Fire Department responded to the scene. EMS were called for standby but no injuries were reported.
