Shirley Mae Hall, 71, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, Ind.
Shirley Mae was born Nov. 16, 1942, in Pikeville, Ky., to Evan and Dorothy (Compton) Hamilton. On Dec. 24, 1959, she and Lloyd Hall were married in Betsy Layne, Ky.
She was a homemaker who, in earlier years, had been employed by RR Donnelley and Zimmer. Shirley Mae was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Warsaw.
She is survived by two sons: Danny Lloyd Hall, Silver Lake, Ind.; Dennis Langley (Sandy Hall), Warsaw; daughter: Roxie Delena Hall-Wimsatt, Silver Lake; and nine grandchildren: Stanford, Janelle, Ivan, Levi, Jade, Ellis and Micah Hall; and Avander and Aerronn Wimsatt.
Shirley Mae was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A celebration of Shirley Mae’s life will follow beginning at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, in the funeral home.
The family has asked that gifts in Shirley Mae’s memory be directed to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
