Beverly Jo Perez, 37, of Rochester, Ind., went to her heavenly home at 3:25 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was a cancer survivor in 1993, then succumbed to a short battle with cancer.

Born on June 8, 1977, she was the daughter of Joe B. Perez and Martha Perez Dain.

With great Zebra pride, Beverly graduated with her class from Rochester High School in 1995. She was a devoted lifetime member of the Rochester Church of the Nazarene where she was a member of the prayer team and a nursery worker. She was a past committee member of the Fulton County Relay for Life.

Beverly is survived by her mother and stepfather: Martha and Terry Dain; siblings: Joe C. (Betty) Perez, Waco, Texas; Ross (Sheryl) Perez, Wichita, Kan.; Crysta (Matt) Borden, Syracuse, Ind.; Rhonda (John) Babcock, Fishers, Ind.; Terry Dain Jr., Martinton, Ill.; and Dan (Nikki) Perez, Rochester; nieces and nephews: Carl Lemmon, Alexandra Lemmon, Kaitlyn Duncan, Madison Ottinger, Bailey Perez, Evelyn Babcock, Ethan Babcock, Ben Perez, Braden Perez, Tim Armentrout, Joe Perez, Teresa Murphrey and Angel Perez; four great-nephews and three great-nieces; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her faithful canine companion: Muffy.

She was preceded in death by her father: Joe B. Perez; her grandparents: Opal and Harley Weidner and Sophie and Joe R. Perez.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, in Rochester Church of the Nazarene, 1987 Southway 31, Rochester. Rev. Don Meyer will officiate services. Interment will follow at the Reichter Cemetery near Talma.
