Accidents
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 6:18 p.m. EMS W11 Lane. Driver: Marguerite L. Foster. Foster was driving a vehicle that ran off the road. She had no explanation for why it happened.

Tuesday, Feb. 25, 9:55 p.m. East 500 North. Driver: Alexis A. Cox, North 300 East, Leesburg. Driver struck a deer.

Incident
Officers of the NWPD recently investigated the following incident:

• Tuesday, Feb. 25, 5:54 p.m. South Main Street. A CVS employee called an officer to the store in reference to the theft of a bottle of wine by a male subject. The subject was followed outside and his license plate number recorded. The officer recovered wine from the subject at his home. Report forwarded to prosecutor’s office for a warrant.
