Buckhanon “Buck” Patton, 81, of Tippecanoe, Ind., passed away at 2 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014, in Elkhart Hospice House, Elkhart, Ind., with his family at his side.

Buck was born Nov. 4, 1932, to John and Lucinda (Ratliff) Patton, Langley, Ky. He had been a resident of Tippecanoe with his sister for the past nine months moving from Argos, Ind.

Anything that involved family and friends you would find Buck there. In his lifetime he had been a caretaker for many of his own family members which he provided as his ministry.

He was married for three years to Linda Patton; she passed away.

Buck is survived by three sisters: Etta (Donald) Elliott, Tippecanoe, Ind.; Betty (Columbus) Moore, Harrod, Ohio; and Pauline Gough, Oregon, Ohio; and a brother: Gene (Earleen) Patton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Linda; two sisters: Louise Gunnels and Deadra Patton; and two brothers: Temp Patton and Billy Tom Patton.
