Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 4:48 p.m. East U.S. 30, Warsaw. Drivers: David W. Bailey, 30, N. Anthony Boulevard, Fort Wayne; and Donald P. Wolford, 58, Covered Wagon Trail, Leo. Wolford was traveling east on US 30 about half a mile west of CR 450 East when he was rear-ended by Bailey’s vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 7:39 a.m. East 225 South and South 75 East, Warsaw. Drivers: Cindy L. Hicks, 47, South 75 East, Warsaw; and Lucas B. Thomas, 18, Winona Lake. Hicks was at the stop sign at the intersection of 225 South and 75 East when she began backing up in the intersection and struck Thomas’s vehicle. Damages: up to $5,000

Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 5:10 p.m. Lake City Highway and Old Road 30. Drivers: Elizabeth D. Tucker, 48, Highlander Drive, Warsaw; and Tammy M. Davis, 38, Willow Lane, Warsaw. Tucker was traveling eastbound on Lake City Highway and was attempting to make a left hand turn when she collided with Davis who was traveling westbound. Damages: up to $10,000

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 4:46 p.m. Lake City Highway and Orthopedic Drive. Drivers: Charles D. Oscar, 65, Burla Drive, Morris, Ill.; and Susan K. Frederick, 61, South 3rd Street, Pierceton. Oscar was northbound on Commerce Drive in the left turn lane when, because of reported engine issues, he continue straight instead of turning causing him to strike into the rear of Frederick’s vehicle, which was in the straight lane. Damages: up to $2,500

North Webster Police Department
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 6:18 p.m. EMS West 11 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Marguerite L. Foster, 66, EMS W11 Lane, North Webster. Foster was driving home from the store after picking up a prescription and ran off the roadway into a snowbank. When questioned, she stated she was “as drunk as a skunk.” Foster admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages earlier and could not provide an explanation of how she ran off the roadway into a snowbank. Damages: up to $2,500
