AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley High School will honor coach Bill Patrick Saturday night.

Valley will host a reception for their boys basketball Hall of Fame coach following their game with Peru. The reception is to honor Patrick for recently coaching his 1,000th career game.

Patrick is 725-281 in his 45th season on the sidelines. The Sidney High School graduate is 247-101 in his 15th season at Valley. The Vikings are 12-3 on the season and have clinched their third straight Three Rivers Conference championship.

All of Patrick’s former players, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and fans are invited to the reception.

The Peru at Valley game Saturday night starts with the JV contest at 6:15 p.m.
