SOUTH BEND – The Lakeland Christian Academy boys basketball team dropped a 73-30 final at South Bend Community Baptist Tuesday night.

The hosts led 23-9 after the first quarter en route to the win.

The trio of Chris Silveus, Connor Blum and Jon Harmon each scored eight points to lead the way for LCA.

Cody Kline netted four points and Kyle Shuler had two for the Cougars.

Trent Secor and Sam Fiedler each scored 22 points to lead the way for Community Baptist.

The Cougars, who are now 1-16 on the season, host Oregon-Davis Thursday at 7 p.m. at Grace College.
