The National Weather Service is issuing a Winter Weather Advisory from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday for much of northern Indiana.

Snow, which could be heavy at times, is expected to accumulate from 3 inches to 5 inches and could end with a period of light freezing drizzle.

Expect snow-covered roads and difficult driving conditions on your Monday evening commute.

Counties in the advisory include Kosciusko, LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke, Pulaski, Marshall and Fulton counties in Indiana; and Berrien and Cass counties in Michigan.
