David A. Susaraba, 45, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born Aug. 30, 1968, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to Nicholas and Shirley (Coleman) Susaraba Sr. He was Warsaw resident since 1974.
David was united in marriage to Jodi L. Schuh in Warsaw on Sept. 10, 1994. He was a model maker specialist for Depuy Synthes Orthopaedics with 27 years of service. He was a member of First Christian Church, Warsaw.
David enjoyed buying toys for children hospitalized in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, while he was a patient himself.
Survivors include his wife: Jodi Susaraba, Warsaw; a daughter: Hannah Susaraba, Warsaw; his mother: Shirley Murphy, Warsaw; brothers: Nicholas (Penny) Susaraba Jr., Silver Lake, Ind.; Timothy Susaraba, Ohio; John (Kathy) Susaraba, Warsaw; a sister: Mitzie (Tim) Hensen, Warsaw; and stepmother: Marilyn Susaraba, Sebring, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Rebekah Lyn Susaraba; his father: Nicholas Susaraba Sr.; and stepfather: Charlie Murphy.
Calling is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 14, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A memorial service will be conducted at noon Saturday in the funeral home. Pastor Jon Henbree will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
