Dorinda Heiden-Guss, president and CEO of Economic Development Corporation of Elkhart County, presents Syracuse Town Manager Henry DeJulia with a golden shovel statue in appreciation for bringing Syracuse its first shovel ready site with the Syracuse Industrial and Technology Park during a press conference held Thursday morning.

The Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce held its 102nd Annual Membership Dinner Thursday evening at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center at Grace College. Members attended and several awards were handed out.

The following awards were presented:

Young Adult Professional of the Year – Kellie Malcolm
Business Leadership Network Employer of the Year – Meijer
Government Excellence Award – Sgt. David Morales
Service Business Award – REMC
Business Award – Warsaw Autoplex
Entrepreneur Award – MudLove
Industry Award – Flexaust
2013 Man & Woman of the Year – Alan Alderfer and Julia Moore
