Several more individuals have filed their candidacy for the May 6 primary, with less than 8½ days until filing ends.

New filings, all Republicans, as of Jan. 24 are:

Kosciusko Superior Court 2 Judge — Tyler S. Haines and Torrey J. Bauer

Township Trustees — Beth Krull, Jefferson, incumbent

Township Advisory Board Members — William A. Leininger, Franklin, incumbent; Craig A. Charlton, Plain, incumbent; Robert L. Beer, Van Buren; Stephen Unruh, Van Buren, incumbent; Virginia Baker, Prairie, incumbent; and Daniel E. Willis, Clay.

Candidates interested in filing his/her candidacy have until noon Friday, Feb. 7 to file with the Kosciusko County Clerk.

Voter registration will close on April 7, with absentee voting beginning April 8.
