Shauna M. Pingleton, 22, North Manchester, Ind., passed away at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.  

She was born April 22, 1992, in Wabash, Ind., to Bruce E. and Linda S. (Emerick) Pingleton. She graduated from Manchester High School in 2010 and attended Manchester University for one year. 

She was employed at Shindigz, South Whitley, Ind., for the past 4 months.

Growing up Shauna enjoyed softball, basketball, riding four wheelers, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Shauna was not a planner, she lived one day at a time and was always there to help a friend. She especially loved all the children in her life. 

She is survived by her mother: Linda S. Pingleton, North Manchester; a brother: Shane M. Pingleton, North Manchester; her maternal grandmother: Madeline Emerick, North Manchester; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.   

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5, in the funeral home. Pastor Kurt Stout will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
