Eisenhower Awards Students For ISTEP Improvement

Eisenhower ISTEP Recognition 2014Mr. Chris Gensinger, Principal of Eisenhower Elementary School, recognized 164 students in grades 4-7 for increasing their ISTEP scores in Math and Language Arts from the previous year. 

Students were recognized in four categories which include: bronze level which included students who increased their scores from 25 to 49 points or pass/pass+ in grade 3; silver level which included students who increased their scores from 50-99 points or pass/pass+ in grade 3; gold level which included students who had an increase of 100-149 points or pass/pass+ in grade 3; and platinum level which included students who had a gain of 150 points and above.

Eisenhower ISTEP Recognition 2014All students received a certificate showing their point increase and the following prizes. Bronze level was awarded an eagle pen, silver level was awarded dilly bar, gold level was awarded a pizza and platinum level was awarded a pizza and a stadium blanket.

Students that showed a gain of 200 points and above received an e-reader or an iPod. Eisenhower is proud of the accomplishments of all of their students.
