SYRACUSE – The Wawasee Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team collected a championship Saturday.

The Warriors defeated Manchester 52-46 and Indian Springs 34-26 to win the Manchester Tournament.

Members of the championship team included Cayden Wegener, Jairus Boyer, Josh McDaniel, Jacob Hand, Will Geer, Blake Norris, Dalton Pearish, John Kennedy and Brett Willaman.

The champions were coached by Chad Hoffert.
