Timothy “Tim” Paul Markward, 57, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4:47 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014,at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., for the past 19 years. He was a 1975 high school graduate from Van Wert, Ohio. He studied computer science and worked as a computer programmer for Miller’s Health System in Warsaw until his passing. Tim enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader and enjoyed the arts.
He was born Dec. 6, 1956, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Urban G. Markward and Margaret A. (McCleary) Markward.
Tim is survived by his partner: Ron Shaffer, Warsaw; daughter: Magdalene “Maggie” (fiancé Cody Webb) Markward; grandson: Liam Webb, all of Van Wert, Ohio; three brothers: Dave Markward; Steve (Loretta) Markward; Ken (Marie) Markward; two sisters: Elaine (Donnie) Bragg; and Linda Markward and partner Ginger McKinney, all of Van Wert, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 31, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. A Celebration of Life will follow at noon Saturday and be conducted by his family members at the funeral home.
