1313722_profile_picKristina Kay “Krissy” Blocher, 38, of South Whitley, Ind., passed away at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born Feb. 14, 1976, in Warsaw, Ind., to John and Sharon (Bills) Holden. She attended Warsaw Community High School.

On Feb. 10, 1997, she married Gabriel Blocher in Warsaw.

Krissy was a bartender for the past year at Green Parrot.

Her mother’s Valentines Day baby, she was very giving and compassionate and was always the life of the party. She loved music, shopping, getting mani/pedicures, family vacations and NASCAR (a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan).

Young at heart, Krissy was greatly loved by her many nieces and nephews; she loved the people she worked with and cared about the patrons. But most of all, Krissy lived for her children.

She is survived by two daughters: Ashley Kay (Moser) Blocher and Bryleigh Parker Blocher, both at home; two sons: Tyler Scott Blocher and Jacob Lynn Blocher, both at home; her mother and step father: Sharon and Charles Kaltenbach, Warsaw; five sisters: Laura (Scott) Campbell, Warsaw; Kim (Jeff) Hurd, Mentone, Ind.; Shawnee Greene, Syracuse, Ind.; Pam (Darren) Jones, Quincy, Ill.; and Delena Koch (fiancé, Wes), Quincy, Ill.; three brothers: Todd (Sherry) Pippenger, Bourbon, Ind.; Chad (Steve) Kaltenbach, Warsaw; and Chuck Kaltenbach, Quincy, Ill.; a sister-in-law: Kim (James) King, Pierceton, Ind.; three brothers-in-law: Eric (Melissa) Blocher, Columbia City, Ind.; Tracy (Shelly) Blocher, Warsaw; Sarah Blocher, Pierceton, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father: John Wayne Holden.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, Ind. Her funeral service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at the funeral home with Pastor David Cripe of Freewill Baptist Church, Warsaw. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
