Take the plunge to benefit Special Olympics Indiana for Area 5, which includes Kosciusko County, by taking part in the Polar Bear Plunge on Feb. 8, in Kokomo.

The Polar Plunge is a fundraiser for the Area 5 Special Olympics. It’s scheduled to happen with registration and breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Crossroads Community Church in Kokomo. The plunge begins at 10:15 a.m. 

You can participate in the plunge or make a pledge to support one of the local participating athletes. Money raised from this event helps defray costs for local athletes competing at the Special Olympics Indiana Summer Games.
