Patrick Dooley, 59, of Cromwell, Ind., passed away at 11:40 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born Aug. 9, 1954, to Richard and Vivian (Young) Dooley in Elkhart, Ind. On Dec. 2, 1978, he married Cynthia Teel. She survives.
He received his GED and went on to serve his country honorably in the 101st Airborne Army. Patrick worked at Flexsteel for 25 years. He enjoyed playing pool, going to the casinos and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his father; two sons: Byron (Tonya) Dooley, Cromwell; Anthony (Abby Graves) Dooley, Columbia City, Ind.; six grandchildren: Jace Dooley, Kameron Dooley, Kora Dooley, Ashlyn Dooley, Devon Howard and Katelyn Hoemig; six siblings: Timothy (Pam) Dooley, Penelope Chesser, Dennis ( Evelyn) VanAlstine and Lisa Ward, all of Elkhart; Charles Hilliard, Anderson, Ind.; and Michaline (Michael) Butler, Elkhart.
Patrick was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
