Milford Fire Department was called to Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Facility, 505 W. Fourth St., when staff smelled something hot. The call was received around 10:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters responded, calling for additional manpower in the event the facility needed evacuated. The Plain Township/Leesburg Fire Department was also called to be on standby for Milford.

Fire officials report there was a small elctrical fire in the attic of one of the room, but it was quickly rendered under control. No evacuation was necessary.

A fire hose was ran through the window of the dining room in case it was needed.
