Stephen Ray Kessinger, 39, of Bremen, Ind., passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014. His last ride led him home to be with God.

He was born May 19, 1974, to Cheryl Kessinger.

In his life he amazingly touched so many lives with his big heart. Steve was employed at Newmar Corporation in Nappanee, Ind., and loved working with his “family” at Meister Farms. He graduated from Bremen High School in 1992 and was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan. He loved his Harley, and was proudly a member, known as “Battery,” of the Wild Sons Riders Club. He will be missed by so many friends and family. We will remember him for his heart and he will forever be kept in ours.

He is survived by his mother: Cheryl Kessinger, Nappanee; his sister: Tina (Russ) Kessinger, Nappanee; his niece: Sara; his nephew: Deaven; and his grandmother: Annie Kessinger, Bremen.

He was preceded in death by his granddad: Vernon Kessinger; his uncle: Dennis Kessinger; his aunt: Sandra Bradford; and a cousin: Mikie Devine.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery. Immediately following the graveside service on Thursday, May 22, there will a Celebration of Life luncheon at Meister Farm, 5113 A Road, Bremen.

Memorial contributions given in honor of Steve will go to the Wild Sons Riders Club.
