Wawasee Frosh Take Pair At Manchester
NORTH MANCHESTER – Wawasee’s freshman boys basketball returned to action Saturday morning after a long holiday layover to win two games at the Manchester Tournament.
The Warriors held off Fort Wayne Bishop Luers 47-43 in its first game and closed with a 45-34 victory against Wabash.
Carter Jones led Wawasee in the Luers win with 15 points and Tim Conley tossed in eight points and eight rebounds. Conley paced the Warriors (6-4) with 16 points and eight boards against Wabash while teammate Spencer Prescott added eight points.
Wawasee will return to action Tuesday with a game against Westview.
