Donald J. Frazier, 76, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away Friday, May 9, 2014, in Vibra Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Garrett, Ky., to Claude and Ruby (Hollifield) Frazier. He served in the United States Army and married Bessie Fay Harmon on Nov. 7, 1961, in Silver Lake, Ind.
He lived in Warsaw most of his life and retired from DePuy in 2004 after 23 years as a machinist. He also worked for International Harvester for 13 years, retiring 1977. He enjoyed traveling.
Donald is survived by his wife: Bessie Frazier, Warsaw; a son: Corbett (Vickie) Frazier, Warsaw; two grandsons: Eric (Maria) Frazier and Dennis (Trish) Frazier, both of Warsaw; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Harold Frazier, Warsaw; and Jim (Melody) Frazier, Connersville, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
No visitation is planned. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, and officiated by Rev. Glen Hughes of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, Warsaw. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126.
