YeaterRonald Yeater, 69, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:20 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born Jan. 19, 1945, in South Bend, Ind., to Cloyce E. and Margaret (Young) Yeater. On Oct. 24, 1966, in Pierceton, Ind., he was united in marriage to Charlotte A. Breedlove. 

He was a lifetime Warsaw resident. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1966 as a Specialist (4) during the Vietnam Conflict.

He retired from Kimbell Glass of Warsaw as a Set-Up Man in 2002 after 34 years of service. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post #49, Warsaw and the Warsaw Moose Lodge. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Men’s Senior League at Little Big Horn Golf Course, Warsaw.

He is survived by his wife: Charlotte Yeater, Warsaw; children Angie (Jeff) Howard, Martin, Ky.; and David (Dawn) McDonald, Warsaw; his mother: Margaret Yeater, Fenton, Mich.; a brother: Dan (Cindy) Yeater, Byron, Mich.; a sister: Janice Ritter, Fenton, Mich.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son: Rodney McDonald.

Calling hours are scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the funeral chapel with Pastor Rob Vance officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post #49, V.F.W Post #1126 and the Indiana Army Reserve National Guard.
