harold wrightsmanHarold R. Wrightsman, 82, of Silver Lake, Ind., passed away at 9:56 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Ind.

He was born at Flint, Mich., on April 2, 1931, to Raymond and Nellie (Flora) Wrightsman. He served in Korea in the United States Army. On March 29, 1952, he married Esther M. Lewis.  She survives.

He worked at Tri-State Harvester in Silver Lake, Ind, for a total of 21 years. He retired in 1995 from Fasson-Avery Dennison Co., Fort Wayne, Ind., after 10 years. Harold was an avid fisherman and attended Manchester Bible Church.

He is survived by a son: Michael Wrightsman, Silver Lake; two daughters: Joyce (Tom) Higgs, Harlan, Ind.; and Debra Wrightsman, Fort Wayne; two brothers: Paul Wrightsman, North Manchester, Ind.; and Ronnie (Louella) Wrightsman, Warsaw, Ind.; two sisters: Eileen (Herman) Beachler, North Manchester; Carol Grindle, Laketon, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son: Jerry Wrightsman; a daughter: Judy Ulrey; and a sister: Patricia Cook.

Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the funeral home.  Arthur Cook will officiate and burial  will follow at Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester.
