GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERABertha Mae Frame, 63, of Pierceton, Ind., and formerly of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away at 3:24 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born Dec. 17, 1950, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Samuel Layton and Gertrude Griffin. On Dec. 31, 1980, she married John Eugene Frame.

She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and two dogs. 

She is survived by her husband; two daughters: Dyanna (David) Collier, Timberville, Va.; Serritha (Donald) Peterson, Roann, Ind.; a step daughter: Amy (Jess) Wickham, Zanesville, Ohio; four sons: David Jackson, Athens, Ala.; George (Amber) Jackson, Burket, Ind.; Tim (Sarah) Frame, Warsaw, Ind.; Johnny Frame, Pierceton; and two step sons: Gary (Michelle) Moody, Atwood, Ind.; and Brian Moody, Zanesville, Ohio; and special friends: Jerry (Fran) Grundy, South, Zanesville, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren and three great-step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son: Russell (Rusty) Jackson Jr.; her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

A private memorial service will be held for the family and close friends at Morningstar Foursquare Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3.
