John Sicks, 55, of Leesburg, Ind., passed away on Dec. 22, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1958, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Dan and Betty Jo (Schirm) Sicks.  He was a US Navy veteran having served on the USS Kitty Hawk.

He was employed by Tranter Graphics. John was a dual member as a vet as well as SAL of the North Webster American Legion.

He is survived by his son: Tyler Sicks, Pierceton, Ind.; two sisters: Joann Lashley, Pierceton; and Judy Stewart, Osceola, Ind.

He was preceded by his son Danny Sicks and his parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the North Webster American Legion, with calling 1 hout prior.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Tyler Sicks Education Funed c/o Key Bank. Arrangements are being handled by Eastlund Funeral Home.
