ELKHART – A little home cooking hit the spot for the Elkhart Memorial Chargers Monday night, beating Wawasee 38-27 in boys freshman buckets.

Evan Krueger led the Warriors (4-2) with seven points while Tim Conley and Allen Miller hit for six points each. The Warriors downfall came at the free throw line, hitting just one of eight attempts.

Wawasee will get back at it Thursday with a game against Warsaw.
