Janie E. Wyatt, 79, of Akron, Ind., passed at 11:29 p.m., Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne, Ind.

She was born Oct. 31, 1934, in Dyer County, Tenn., to Marvin and Mackie (Essary) Roberson. On Oct. 20, 1951, in Hernada, Mississippi, she married Billy C. Wyatt, who survives.

Janie worked for General Electric for many years. she was a loving Wife and Mother. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Rochester, Ind.

Survivors Janie is her husband; daughters: Karen (Charles Shane), Akron, Ind., and Gail Wyatt, Steelville, Mo.; sons: Billy Wyatt, Rochester, Ind., and Tony (Theresa) Wyatt, Burbank, Ill.; six Grandchildren: Charles (Brenda) Shane, Karla (Jeremy) Lane, Tony Wyatt Jr., Vanessa Wyatt, Army Specialist Brandon Wyatt P.F.C., Airman Mallory (Mike) Santiago; five great -grandchildren: Kealy, Jacob, Katie Joe, Charles, and Carter; sisters: Carolyn (Luther) Garrett, Hickory Hills, Ill., Marolyn Essary, Dyersburg, Sandra (Tom) Tough, Akron; brother: Morris (Linda) Roberson, Dyersburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Joyce Roberson; brother: Tom Roberson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 3, at Liberty Baptist Church 2089 Liberty Road, Rochester. Pastor Bill McSpadden presiding.
