Helen Owens, head custodian at Tippecanoe Valley Middle School, was honored at Monday’s meeting of the Tippecanoe Valley School Board as the initial recipient of the TVSC Pillar Award for Outstanding Support Staff.

According to Tippecanoe Valley Superintendent Brett Boggs, “The Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation has many wonderful individuals among our classified staff that work very hard and receive little recognition. Because of this, for each issue of the “View of the Valley” newsletter a member of the support staff/classified staff will be featured, much as a “World Class Teacher” is featured in each issue.
